5-Day Computer Forensics Training Course
This course deals with the topic of Computer Forensics as science. Although computer forensics tools are included, the course focuses on the technical and legal issues of computer evidence processing. The participants include a blend of law enforcement, corporate and US Department of Defense computer specialists. Even though evidence processing is stressed, the course also covers corporate and government risk management. Operating systems covered include DOS, Windows and Windows XP.
Participants demonstrate their proficiency and understanding in hands-on workshops and data recovery exercise to identify and recover an electronic version of their diploma. A written test is also administered by Oregon State University and passing scores entitle the students to a university Professional Development Certificate and three college workshop credits.
